I've heard of Rojava and the experiments there, but this is the most detail I've gotten. I want to know more now. I downloaded the PDFs you included. Thanks so much for taking the time to put together this informative and inspirational post.
I'd be very cautious about this sort of group experience. Unless it is in the hands of very wise moderators, it can be extremely dangerous to people who do not have their feet firmly planted on the ground.
It’s all about the group. I did my first Tekmil in a group of 4 with an experienced moderator. We all focused on self-critique. If you throw it on a fire where there’s bad blood, it could be very bad. People have to go into it respecting the process and each other to some degree. But think about this too… this process shifted a patriarchal Islamic society into a feminist society.
Got here from Max Wilbert. Very rational and intelligent but not what the moment calls for, which is something faster and more sweeping -- the system change we've been headed for pushed into reality by organizing ourselves to become a force Please tune into my Susbstack. It's all about that -- not just talking about it but looking to mobilize us to push on the slow evolutionary progress we might make if we had time.
I'm not sure it's an either/or type of situation. Tekmil is an immediate tool for conflict resolution in any group of people, including a militant one taking action now. No group unable to get along with itself will ever be effective. It is also great for longterm cultural change. These things are not mutually exclusive.
Yes, the biggest picture includes better ways to govern ourselves, but my dealing is with the immediacy of the need to become a united humanity that gives us the best chance to deal with the danger we are in. There are a variety of governance ideas that would be good to investigate, but there’s no public advocacy except mine for how to get us to take concerted action now.
"the immediacy of the need to become a united humanity" is quite vague. You have my curiosity... but if you are trying to hook people to read more, you might give us a little more.
What I give you is my Substack: https://suzannetaylor.substack.com. I don’t have an elevator pitch other than that what I’m looking to do is to deal with what’s causal to how humanity is behaving rather than dealing with fixing surface realities. Change how humanity thinks, where we get it we are a family and not rugged individualists climbing over one another, and you have what would create the best practices for us even to survive let alone thrive. Then I talk about what for we-the-people can create to get us to be a force affecting what we do now.
Sue, I take this very seriously, like many others. But I don’t see a specific strategy. For me it’s consciousness change through a revolution in anatomical science. I identify a new body part, the deep core, that I argue is a neurological source of integral insight, a meta cognitive paradigm shift, and Consilience.
A short statement like that (two sentences) is hard to make and easy to dismiss, but we are serious, not just shopping for feel good recipes.
You don’t have something more coherent you can explain? Collective action maybe?

Awesome work again! Thank you for this.
This was incredibly insightful and fulfilling, and answered a great many questions within that had gone hungry for answers. Thank you so much, Justin.
A very interesting read, thank you!
I appreciate the feedback. Glad it was worthwhile for you.

Sounds like good stuff. I at least attempt to do the same. But I look forward to getting your insights on your Substack.
What is a post that summarizes your view?
I don't have a one-pager but just about every post reflects the big picture I'm in. Here is this week's:
Can we come up with an ask for humanity?
How to move from helplessness to action
